Hello! My name is Carmen Tran and I am a first year general civil engineering student at Cal Poly Pomona. During my first year here, I developed advanced knowledge in the use of Microstation, AutoCAD, and Bentley Open Roads Software through my civil engineering classes. Outside of academics, I am also a active member in a sorority (Sigma Kappa Zeta Upsilon) and SWE (Society of Women Engineers). Through these two clubs that I am involved in, I acquired leadership skills, teamwork skills, communication skills, and exposure to the civil engineering industry through presentations hosted by companies.
