Working for Restaurant Associates enables me to turn beautiful ideas in a reality. Priding ourselves on impeccable food and service, I am driven to ensure each event is executed perfectly and each client leaves with a wonderful memory.Working inside one of Melbourne's most iconic venues, Melbourne Museum, also brings further coordination which requires high organisation and communication skills.

Having worked on a number of different events with ranging scale and scope, freelancing has taught me how to work with anyone and anything. I have brought charity/non-profit events to life that were start-ups, ran corporate events within the hospitality industry and even ran workshops for a client in the health and well-being sector.I am someone who is highly motivated, organised and can lead a team to bringing any event to life. I work fast, and enjoy that type of environment, whereby, I can also work self sufficiently. Living among today's society, whereby, technology is always changing and industries are always growing, I wish to work in a manner that allows me to be innovative and not resistant to change. I also run a small side project with a colleague called Meet Market, whereby we conduct small networking events for like minded people through the platform of speed dating (not your average speed dating). This is a great example of me using traditional administration practices to bring an event to life, yet, being innovative in the way in which it is executed. For example, through live workshops/experiences, music, social media and trending issues.

I previously worked in a senior role as the event manager at White Card Food and Events. White Card is contracted to Museum Victoria, running events in two of their wonderful venues. As we were a small business working within a small team meant I held a lot of responsibilities. I am incredibly organised and working across two venues required me to have great skills in managing multiple projects. Within this role I have was able to independently run small and large scale events seamlessly. With each event I tried to bring my own creativity and passion to the brief.Some of my responsibilities included:- Venue Management- Managing clients- Managing and training staff- Sourcing and liaising with suppliers- Conducting site visits- Event production- Social media marketing- Creating run sheets- Liaising with museum staff/security/cleaning- Rostering- Organising food and beverage stock and packages for all events- Supervising bump ins/bump outs/risk assessments- Operating the internal bars and ensuring they adhere to licensing regulations- Working with AV team to ensure lighting and sound is correct- Budgeting/costings of all events- Working at event exhibits as spokesperson for White Card- General day to day administration duties
