- Partner with attorneys and work on immigration cases, including asylum, U-visa, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and green cards cases.- Prepare and file immigration documents, including TPS applications, I-589 forms, work permits, and FOIA requests, through mail and USCIS online portals.- Follow through with asylum applications from filing to interview, including cases of political, forced marriage, LGBTQ+ Rights and domestic violence. - Serve as interpreter when engaging with Mandarin-speaking clients. - Conduct intake interviews and discuss intake outcomes with peers in weekly staff meetings. - Perform legal research over similar precedents and facts of home country conditions to bolster clients’ credibility for asylum cases, and cross-referencing research with case facts on table of contents. - Completed 120-hour accredited representative intensive training with TRII, with DOJ fully accredited representative pending.

- Research, review and edit philosophy papers in various topics such as personal identity, philosophy of language, symbolic logic, and epistemology. - Provide content-level feedback for soundness and clarity of arguments, overall structure, and originality of papers.- Discuss with peers during weekly meetings over submitted essays and work closely with authors whose submissions are accepted.
