About Carol Clark

My career experience includes executive positions with city and state agencies, the AIA New york Chapter, and non-profit organizations with real estate, fundraising and advocacy as core activities. With skills in intergovernmental relations, economic development, and urban planning. I have held a series of full-time leadership roles.In my current position as Director of Interagency Collaboration in the Office of the Chief Architect at the NYC Department of Design and Construction, I focus on planning and policy issues. From 8/12 to 8/15, as Deputy Commissioner for Real Properties and Legislative Affairs at the New York State Office for Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, I oversaw the Real Property Bureau which added 3,000 acres to the parks system during my tenure. I also serve as an an adjunct faculty member at Columbia University and Pratt Institute where I have taught courses in neighborhood conservation and zoning, as well as landmarks preservation practice and policy. Additionally, I have an extensive record of record of public service holding volunteer posts with several organizations.
