In 1997, we developed a vertical market niche strategy when we were referred to a bank to recruit SBA BDO’s for them. We partnered with the CEO to understand their talent profile, their employment value proposition, their sales culture and their niche. We then helped them build a nationwide sales force. Later we started recruiting underwriters, credit analysts, portfolio managers & loan packagers. This formed the blueprint for how Mike was able to develop recruiting market niches.
