Collaborate with all areas of the Sutter Health IT associated with the eHR initiative to implement an enterprise wide Epic solution throughout Sutter. One focus has been the SER Provider master file. Primary objective: Identify procedural build required for both the inpatient and ambulatory provider records. Document build requirements Update existing SER records to align with the build procedure Create a Sutter wide procedure for notification of changes, additions, deletes and transfers of all Sutter providers.

Collaborate with all areas of the Sutter Health IT associated with the eHR initiative to implement an enterprise wide Epic solution throughout Sutter. Focus has been HIM and Document Imaging solutions. Primary objective has been to fully expose the document imaging requirements and methodology to incorporate scanning into the Epic / OnBase EHR initiative. Work closely with Epic component applications to configure the scanning functions in each area. Assist in enterprise workflow modeling, and build of Hyland OnBase and Epic configurations. Work with multiple hospitals to identify day to day operations workflow and how document imaging can be utilized to optimize processes in a standardized manner. Go-live Support Team member with Epic Go-Live at two hospitals in bay area, and independent document imaging solution at one of the largest facilities in the Sutter system.

Managed all aspects of healthcare information systems and associated staff of as much as 75 for multi-specialty medical clinic with 95 providers, over 550 total employees, utilizing highly automated processing systems for information management. Chair person for several committees. Actively participated in the design, development, and implementation of the clinic’s electronic medical record system. Gatekeeper for HIPPA privacy grievances, both internally and externally. Managed department personnel and operating and capital budgets for three departments.
