Carol D. Clarke was recently promoted to Manager Associate at ING Financial Markets. Since her promotion to the professional side of financial markets a couple of years ago, her responsibilities include:- Extensive comparable credit analysis, as well as creating and analyzing credit spreads and issuer briefs for pricing of credits for potential USPPs in the Private Placements market- Comprehensive research on various credits, including industry reports, credit agency reports and so forth- Having a good facility with market and credit research tools such as Bloomberg & Capital IQ- Being a key liaison for "Designated Orders" transactions in which ING is invited to be a co-manager, passive bookrunner or joint lead manager on a public bond or equity transaction- Preparing presentations for pitch meetings for both the Private Placements team and other product groups- Writing about market conditions and the current state of Private Placements, as well as creating analysis for a quarterly market update periodical -- (internal publication with a dual purpose of updating clients as well)- Creating "tombstones" of Private Placements deals that are included in presentations- Creating Working Parties Lists for mandated transactions- Being a liaison for Investor Due Diligence tripsPrior to coming to the business world, Carol D. Clarke was a professional actor. By vigorously pursuing her goals, Carol worked in theatre, television and film and is a member of all three performance unions.
