In my Contract Management role, I work alongside Project Managers to oversee the proper execution of large defense training solution projects (>200M$) in all commercial and contractual aspects:-Advising project management teams on contractual issues, providing critical business support to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with the agreed contract terms; -Administering claim management activities including the preparation of all associated contractual correspondence;-Identifying, evaluating and mitigating commercial risks and opportunities;-Some achievements : Implemented a claim register for large project, ensuring all contractual issues are actively managed ; Established trusting relationships with internal stakeholders allowing diligent and collaborative decision-making.As an Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) specialist, I support CAE Defense & Security Canada division by identifying, developing, implementing and managing Canadian offset programs in support of competitive and sole source defense programs.-Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop and submit activities eligible for offset (ITB) credits in Canada;-Lead role in the preparation and submission of compliant Value Proposition (VP) / offset proposals alongside Capture/Bid Teams;-Negotiation of contract and subcontract Offset / ITB Terms & Conditions;-Execute offset plans including the submission, reporting and achievement of offset/ITB credits within budget and schedule;-Business and network development with Canadian offset authorities (ISED), aerospace and related industrial associations and greater offset community.

As a Commercial Manager I worked alongside the Project Managers to oversee the proper execution of contracts (>200M$) in all commercial and contractual aspects of major hydropower projects including contract negotiation, risk management, project management and financial management.In March 2012 I was also nominated Vendor Claim Specialist to advise and support other Commercial Managers in their claim management tasks. I designed, implemented and maintained a claim register for all projects of the Canadian entity allowing the head of Purchasing to have a consolidated view of all vendor issues.Some of my achievements :-Preparated a 276,000$ warranty claim against a vendor; settled at 241,000$-Reduced financial costs for a Letter of Credit by 297,000$ by negotiation with the company's headquarters to change the issuing bank ans securing the custorer's approval of this change-Negotiated a contract amendment of 342,000$ for a new site installation sequence

The company had recently created a Contract Management Unit and one of my objective was to develop contract management awarness among Technical Project Managers.I improved the company risk management identification tool and created a 1-day risk management workshop where I had the opportunity to train 56 project team members.In addition to montly project cost control activities I was responsible for change order identification and submission including costing and final amendment drafting.I also regularly supported the legal department and sales team by conducting contract analysis in bid and execution phase (oil &gas and energy projects).Some of my achievements:-Prepared a total of 313 000 € of claims for additional work with a success rate higher than 50%-Designed a project cash-flow tool which was implemented
