I had the chance to crawl under the lowest deck of a nuclear submarine in France, to see the erection of the steel structure of a plate mill in India and to walk inside the water intake of a hydroelectric turbine in Canada. Though these projects seem very different, they do share one similarity: they did not go as planned!With over 15 years of project experience, I have learned that there is one thing you can be sure of: large complex projects will never go as initially planned. Everyday there is a new challenge to overcome and you will never be bored with the routine.
