BAE Systems Canada provides some of the world’s most advanced defence products and services for air, land, and naval forces, as well as cybersecurity and information intelligence. From our inception in 1911 to now, BAE Systems has had a long history of innovation and partnership in Canada, from the successful Avro Arrow to our new 3D Visualization Suite technology in Ottawa. Today, over 2,400 Canadians are employed directly or indirectly through the company, and we have created an economic impact of approximately half a billion dollars. Headquartered in Ottawa, Ont., we partner with a variety of small and medium-sized businesses within Canada to support and service solutions for current and future defense, intelligence, and civilian systems. We are excited to be forming new and impactful connections with local organizations, in shipbuilding and beyond, allowing us to further invest in Canadian research and development. Our business units include Applied Intelligence, Naval Ships, Maritime Services, and our Naval Weapon Systems business. We have expanded our operation in Canada with an international cybersecurity practice in Toronto and have plans to expand further to help us better serve the Canadian Armed Forces.
