My journey hasn’t followed a straight path, but each twist and turn has taught me resilience and the value of hard work.Starting my career while raising three children as a single mother, I quickly learned the importance of balancing family and work. I began in a part-time receptionist role at a medical office, and within six months, I transitioned to a full-time position. Over the course of nine years, I took on increasing responsibilities, ultimately managing the billing office, accounts receivable, collections, and medical transcription.In 2009, I relocated to Wisconsin to be closer to family and faced the challenge of finding new employment during a difficult economic period. Through perseverance, I secured a role in asset recovery at a local bank, which led to a full-time position. Soon after, I was offered an opportunity at AIG, where I began as a Small Business Underwriting Assistant. I quickly advanced to an Underwriter role, contributing significantly to the growth of our A&H Business Travel Accident product and maintaining strong relationships with brokers.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a willingness to learn, a strong ability to adapt, and a commitment to putting my best foot forward in every situation.
