As an intellectually curious analyst and leader, I’m fascinated with uncovering insights from researching political and economic trends, infrastructure development, climate science, and technology disruptions. I’ve built a career as a fixed income credit analyst on synthesizing complex data and situations, into clear, understandable analysis, publications, and presentations. I currently serve as Head of Credit Research, where I manage a large team of corporate and municipal fundamental credit analysts who support Schwab’s active fixed income strategies, including impact investing. As part of my career overseeing and presenting research analysis, I have published several thought leadership pieces, communicated insights to clients and boards, presented at conferences, and have participated on news media and podcasts. Best known for my expertise in investments that finance infrastructure and essential services, I have served on multiple industry and policy making boards. In my volunteer role as President of Glencoe Park District and representative to the Glencoe Plan Commission, I support sustainable finance, infrastructure, and governance for the community. I am an advocate for addressing aging infrastructure, Lake Michigan coastal resilience, bluff restoration, stormwater management, recreation programs for all ages, diverse housing options, a safe and walkable/bike friendly community, and quality childcare options, including our park district daycare and before/after school program.
