* Management of the finance team - a team of three which includes a Group Accountant, Assistant Accountant and a Credit Controller/Accounts Receivable, includes performance reviews, pay negotiations, regular catch ups, recruitment, interview process, preparation of IEAs, as well as daily support with their areas of expertise* Accountable for all finance related tasks and having the oversight of the different areas Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial reporting, Payroll, Income Tax preparation* Liaising with Auditors and external Accountants regarding Income Tax returns and some Audit requirements* Overseeing the Implementation and transition into a new Payroll system* Preparation of all annual financials statement, this includes the five subsidiaries located overseas ( USA, Netherlands, UK, Spain and France) * Liaison with external accountants overseas regarding GST/VAT compliance and Income Tax compliance * Direct accountability to the CEO with weekly meetings to discuss various finance related matters* Maintaining good relationships with various banks, domestically and overseas ( six banks in total)* Liaising with the Supply Chain Department and Warehouse regarding stock levels, conducting yearly stock takes* Implementation of a new Warehouse Management System to enable barcode scanning and further automation

Key Responibilites:- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, financial reporting, quarterly board reporting, GST returns, End of year financials- Yearly Budgeting and Forecasting- Fortnightly payroll processing (permanent and casual staff)- Involved in the yearly audit- Managing a small team of office staff, this includes quarterly performance reviews, pay negotiations, regular catch ups, rostering, recruitment, interview process, preparation of IEAs- Involved in several projects - implementing of a contact tracing app throughout the whole school, telephone system upgrade, software audits, implementation of new software- Venue Management - supporting the office staff and the Operations Manager with the management of the venue hire internally (staff and students) and externally- Liaising with the Business Managers of both schools from day to day matter to special projects/events/occurences
