Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines. Data pipelines enable the collection, storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of data.Common tasks/responsibilities: 1. Data integration: Gather data from multiple sources (CRM, SAP, APIs, Web tags) and integrate them into a unified data ecosystem. Must ensure data is structured properly and formatted for analysis.2. Data pipeline development: Design and develop data pipelines that efficiently extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from source systems to the target data storage.3. Requirement Translation for Data-Driven Business Solutions: Engaging with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements. This involves conducting meetings, workshops, and interviews to identify data sources, define data transformation and integration requirements, and frame use cases to provide segments ready for activation in marketing campaigns.4. Using agile methodologies: To adapt to changing requirements and deliver high-quality data engineering solutions even with uncertainty in tasks, tasks complexity, and dependencies, agile methods are followed. This entails daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, iterative development, and testing, allowing for faster feedback loops, early detection of issues, and the ability to make timely adjustments.

During the 2021-2022 academic year I was hired as a teaching assistant for two Master's courses; Multivariate Data Analysis and Multimedia Search and Recommendation.Multivariate Data Analysis is a challenging Master's course due to the high level of mathematics involved. Guided students with their assignments and gave feedback on their assignments to help them sufficiently understand the course material.Multimedia Search and Recommendation teaches students how to design and deploy algorithms that maximise the effectiveness, efficiency, and intuitiveness of multimedia search and recommendation. Guided students through their projects which entailed them designing and testing a new algorithmic solution to a current problem in the field.

During my Bachelor's degree, I was a teaching assistant for four courses; Calculus, Algorithms, Design-based learning (DBL) Algorithms, and Computer Networks and Security. Some of these courses were taught during the Covid-19 pandemic compelling us to quickly move teaching online. Short descriptions of the courses can be found below.Calculus is a first-year course for all students at the university. Worked with smaller groups of students to address their questions and weaknesses in a more confined environment. While working in small groups the students were more willing to ask questions and deepen their understanding of the topics. The Algorithms course is considered one of the most difficult third-year Computer Science courses. It teaches students a wide range of techniques to solve optimisation problems, such as the Travelling Salesman Problem, introduces graph algorithms, and teaches students the limits of traditional algorithms by studying computational complexity theory. As a teaching assistant, I guided students in successfully solving practical exercises and graded their submissions.DBL Algorithms is a course where groups of students must solve instances of an NP-hard problem as efficiently as possible. In this iteration of the course, the students were given the "Rectangle Packing" problem. Guided the students during this process and ensured that they were developing soft skills such as planning, reporting, and presentation.Computer Networks and Security introduces topics such as the organisation of computer networks and security protocols. Through both practical and theoretical instructions, students learn how to analyse protocols based on their reliability, performance and security. I helped students experiment with the known protocols during the (virtual) practical instructions, help them solve the theory exercises and grade these exercises.
