I am a science storyteller and filmmaker, driven to explore the human dimensions of conservation. I transform complex conservation issues into compelling narratives through documentary film, interactive experiences, and inspiring stories. I’ve worked with high-profile US and Canadian organizations to develop impact-driven content including as a Digital Storytelling Specialist for Banff National Park’s bison reintroduction. My work on the bison portfolio reached over 118 million people through a nation-wide campaign that included Parks Canada’s first-ever blog and a Travel Alberta award-winning web series. In 2020, after years of storytelling for third-party organizations, I took on the challenge of directing my first independent documentary which examines the cultural impacts of climate change in the Rockies through a reconciliation lens. The project garnered the Alpine Club of Canada Environment Fund Grant, premiered at the 2021 Banff Mountain Film Festival, and culminates in an exhibition at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies in 2022.Finally, with my current professional role as a Communications Advisor with the Town of Canmore and as an entrepreneur managing my own digital storytelling company, I manage all aspects of client campaigns spanning from digital marketing to targeted media outreach to building and managing websites. My work has appeared on the National Geographic Voices Blog, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, the Banff Park Museum, the Calgary Zoo, Xploring by the Seat of Your Pants. I also founded and curated Parks Canada's first-ever blog. I am a 2021 Jackson Wild Fellow and alumna of the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity Adventure Filmmaker Residency. I am currently a Communication Advisor for a faced-paced municipality located in one of the most renowned destinations in Canada. The complex social and environmental landscape of the Town of Canmore requires nimble and responsive communication and collaboration with stakeholders and partners. In my role, I developed modern visual brand standards for the organization, led the transition of the communications department to digital social media management tools, and spearheaded strategic communications for municipal COVID-19 public education roll-out.
As a Digital Storytelling Specialist, I led science communication strategy to share the story of the return of bison to Banff National Park - reaching over 115 million people. I directed the Bison Backcountry Vlog web series, which won a Travel Alberta Award (2019) and Parks Canada CEO Award (2020), created Parks Canada's first-ever blog, and designed a suite of digital products, educational programs, and interactive exhibits.

I led a dynamic team of nature storytellers as the education coordinator where I provided strategic direction for educational programming, increased reach of educational programming by 300% over 4 years, designed immersive curriculum-linked educational experiences, and delivered hands-on storytelling programming for visitors that was recognized with a Edmonton Tourism Award nomination.
Provided expert direction on concept design and planning of educational exhibit at one of North America's most exciting conservation initiatives. My conceptual designs for an interactive exhibit at the Enrico Education and Science Centre about the LANDMARK project revealed the role of citizen science research on the American Prairie Reserve.
