• Providing Partners Periodic baselines of macro / micro economic data and information, through research, to feed strategy reviews for our East African market and to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic choices made, with recommendations of what to do different.• Providing Clients & Industries representatives and industry leaders with baselines of macro / micro economic data and information, through research, for their design of annual industry strategies, and their half-yearly industry plan reviews.• Preparing a quarterly Bank Barometer used to gauge the performance of the East African banking sector. These are later used by other departments in the firm to engage in discussions with their target clients.• Drawing out specific economic issues that have a bearing on the implementation of our top Office of the Chief Executive Officer Client Account Plans.• Maintain and monitor the East African wins and client pipeline database as well as periodically compile reports.• Researching and sending out daily information on 'Today in the news' across our East African offices to keep colleagues informed on various economic indicators and events likely to influence decisions.• Support in coordination of incoming mail for the Deloitte generic account and correspondence ensuring both are dealt with on a timely basis. This involves interacting with an extensive network of clients and service providers.• Delivery of a monthly Newsletter, which provides insights on industry developments, sector trends, regulator updates, client updates and macro-economic data.• Pursuit process support for OCEO & Acquire clients whilst also providing support to Clients & Industries Function Leads.• Support the marketing team in coordinating activities including trainings, client visits and workshops.• Undertaking special projects to support the firm's seamless and robust strategy execution.

• Supporting Financial Services Industry to update Bank Barometers on the quarterly performance of Banks in Kenya to support varying distinctive Partner and Director Engagement.• Assessing current country strategies for our East African Market against prevailing macro-economic trends to propose and recommend more robust market engagement approaches to enhance client targeting and shareholder value from these markets.• Supporting an integral process to improve the richness and quality of client information across Eastern Africa to improve the firm's decision making, resource allocation and investment prioritization.• This entailed a review and reclassification of clients to their correct industries and sub-industries, data that was used to restate overall financial performance over the past 4 years.• This was phase one of an overall process ultimately aimed to improve the firm's client targeting approaches, for more robust route-to-market engagements, profit and shareholder value.• Cleaning Practice Management System (PMS) data to provide more accurate data around our clients, and their industries the clients are part of.• Using PMS cleaned up data to assist the Energy & Resources industry to design and recommend function and country budgets aligned to Deloitte industry 2020 targets.
