- Helped grow the team from a 10 person team to a 20+ person team. - Navigated through the digitalization and optimization of current systems to keep up with the fast-paced growth, such as; digitalization of special orders, prescription requests, and created a system to confirm order reception by group emails instead of individually calling each client. - Inventory management: Reworked the system to allow inventory information to communicate seamlessly, effectively, and significantly more accurately between our information software and B2B purchasing companies. This allowed for automation of the re-order system and moved away from a previously manual order system. - Maximized the use of our information software (Logivet) to reduce the workload on the employees.- Met with companies, and industry leaders to make effective business decisions about tools to implement and products to carry. - Used data and inventory management algorithms to make management decisions such as how much heart worm products to order per month based on previous years and projected growth. - Practiced a horizontally integrated management style that allowed employees to self-problem solve, self-initiate, and excel in areas of their personal interest by encouraging them to spearhead projects they enjoyed. This fostered an environment of creativity, and allowed employees to become experts in their domain of interest, which we as a team learned from each other through each employee’s unique specialization that they could share with us. Included employees from the respective department to interview and be a part of the hiring process for employees in their domain.- Liaised between each domain; veterinarians, receptionists, aide-tech, and technicians and overhead each groups feed back and implemented ways to improve as a whole system between all of the subgroups.
