I started at 5280 Orthodontics almost 3 years ago by just answering phones and scheduling patients. I had never considered dentistry or orthodontics to be a field of interest for me, but quickly I realized how interesting it could be. I then started reading my doctors school books and the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. I progressed up towards the position of treatment coordinator and worked often with the chair side assistants and became proficient in Invisalign, traditional self-ligating brackets, as well as mini twin brackets and LightForce. I then took over the retainer fabrication and implemented 3D printing into our office and helped transition our office fully away from alginate impressions. I am now at a place where I mange retainer fabrication, 3D printing, new patient experience and on boarding as well as insurance and patient financial collections.
