I will act as coordinator for companies willing to work with DAMIThe DAMI4.0 Center is a significant research and innovation environment at Karlstad University which conducts research on digital advanced manufacturing for Industry 4.0, as well as further develops key enabling technologies for Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing to meet industrial requirements.Companies may also use the center as a testing environment for their own projects, or for joint research and development projects. The Center will showcase, using real-world demonstrators, how cyber-physical systems can be implemented in future manufacturing scenarios in order to develop adaptive manufacturing processes.

Efter snart 20 år på universitetet ska jag ta en paus och göra något helt annat. Jag ser jättemycket fram emot att den 21 november bli en del av teamet på Skistar Norge, AS avd. Radisson Blue Mountain Resort & Residences.

Formula Student is a nonprofit project where students design, manufacture, test and compete with a car in Formula Student. Karlstad Universitys team is Clear River Racing. The project is all about learning to work as a team and produce a high-quality product. The experiences gained from the yearlong project gives the members a head-start in the transit between academic studies and the future workplace. I act as advisor to the steering group of Clear River Racing

External Relations OfficerEngaging in collaborations with companies, authorities, and organizations. Collaboration may take the form of mentorships, field trips, case studies and students producing their theses in co-operation with companies. In addition to negotiating contracts with companies, also conducting workshops with students about career planning, personal branding, CV-writing and network-building. External Relations also works with research and innovation support, alumni relations, and job fairs.
