CurrentRonald McDonald House Charities is an independent registered charity that provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for the families of sick children for as long as they need it, whether that's two days or two years. We passionately believe that our Houses improve the lives of families all over the UK and that the provision of family accommodation is an integral part of family-centred care.The generosity of our supporters and volunteers, together with the hard work of our staff, allows us to give sanctuary to families during potentially agonising times. Our ability to do this positively impacts on families' lives in so many ways; easing financial worry, keeping families together, cutting the stresses of travel, keeping families close to their sick child and ensuring family stability are just a few of the ways in which a Ronald McDonald House can help.Key Responsibilities: To provide high quality account management to corporate supporters To recruit new corporate volunteers Prepare and present creative pitches and proposals Reduce expenditure for the Charity by sourcing appropriate in-kind donations Support and motivate a regional fundraising sub-committee to raise funds through local events and contacts Plan, oversee and coordinate fundraising events Work with the Marketing and Communications department to produce appropriate fundraising materials and to ensure that all public relations opportunities are fully maximised
