Worked with Creative Directors and Freelance Artists to create greeting card layouts, file construction, and card embellishments, in accordance with graphic standards and brand integrity for production. • Supported seasonal card production, for up to 350 new designs per year for the Recycled Paper Greetings, Paper Rebel and Just For You brands. Solved production issues and maintained quality standards for printed projects.• Designed finishings (hot stamps, embossing), patterns, and typography for new products. • Imported designs into templates to meet product specifications for placement, sizing, colors, and finishes.• Communicated design changes to Freelance artists or performed corrections to artwork, as needed. • Resized over 1,000 greeting cards to reduce material scrap, as part of a corporate savings initiative.

Enabled the transfer of artwork and design files into the new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. • Supported data entry and file transfers for the Papyrus brand products to crate the PLM database, including product specifications, image scanning, finishes and specifications. Organized and assigned work to offshore resources based in India. Audited work and corrected quality issues. • Input artwork content ids to a central data base, tagging attributes and linking to product specifications for easier access to find specific artwork at a later date. • Assisted with production in launching a new card line, Paper Rebel, including conformance to templates, finishes, design specifications, and pre-print launch.

Worked in “pre-production” department at Jo-Ann Fabrics, pulling images from the server to be used print and digital advertisements. Also assisted the Graphic Design department in generating graphic designs.• Assisted with updating illustrations for logos and creating new logos for social media campaigns. • Worked in the graphic design department creating the Direct Mailers and Newspaper ads for direct mail campaigns. • Performed graphic layout design for the corporate employee newsletter.
