As a Project HEAL New Jersey chapter co-leader, I plan fundraising and educational events benefiting Project HEAL. Two events I coordinated raised over $500 which will be used to increase public awareness of eating disorders and provide treatment to those who cannot afford it. Through my involvement with Project HEAL, I have gained knowledge on how our media, medical communities, and insurance companies perceive and treat eating disorders by writing a scholarly paper with a Susquehanna psychology professor. I am currently serving on Project HEAL New Jersey's Fall Events Committee Board and am helping plan a soirée in Hoboken, NJ in a couple of weeks. Working with Project HEAL has expanded my knowledge on the perceptions and treatments of eating disorders and has encouraged me to execute ideas to the chapter in order to raise awareness and public education.

Office Of Admissions, Susquehanna University

As a member of the Office of Admissions Outreach Team, I am responsible for communicating with and motivating prospective students to visit campus, answering questions about the application process, and offering a student perspective about the Susquehanna experience.

As secretary, I oversee meetings with the Executive Board and general members, assist in achieving goals, allocate and distribute weekly schedules for mass volunteers, and prepare the monthly newsletter.

Since initiating Love Your Melon at Susquehanna, my responsibilities have included conducting bi-monthly team meetings, overseeing the Leadership Board and general members, organizing promotional activities and sales events, as well as leading campus-wide programming for children battling cancer.
