The T1D exchange is an innovative way to allow people to anonymously donate data for research about how they live with their disease and how it affects them and their families.The Exchange is being designed as an open source platform that can be offered freely to other not for profit disease organizations for both the web and mobile devices. (Iphone and Droid) The platform is being built using agile development methods with Ruby on Rails and Mongo as the database and will operate in a cloud.
