Hello, :))I'm Carolina Munhoz. I’m Brazilian and 27 years old. I usually say I'm half a designer, half a visual artist. I live in a constant seeking harmony between those two sides. I try bringing art, flow and emotion to my design projects and likewise, bring design thinking processes to art projects, without losing each one's purposes and the plurality that both projectual and artistic paths share in common. I’ve studied Visual Communication Design at university and graduated from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.  I have 9 years experience with graphic design. I worked at some companies along the way, but one of the highlights was Som Livre, in 2015, a Brazilian record company associated with some of our greatest musical artists. There, I developed much of my junior experience as a designer, especially in graphic production. From 2016, I started exploring visual arts, still working as a freelance designer for many brands and people. In this and many other ways, design was always a major part of my routine. My specialities as a professional are illustration, branding, editorial design and social media. One of the qualities I recognize about myself is the fact that I really deep into any new area I decide to explore. I’m a fast learner and I'm always open to new possibilities, therefore, I believe I’m capable of doing with quality any task I put myself into doing.Currently, I am looking for a new opportunity in the market while exploring new areas involving technology. I have taken professional courses in User Experience and User Interface Design and I am looking for a junior opportunity in this area so I can be able to evolve by executing real projects in practice.I consider one of my advantages to be the interdisciplinarity that I approach in Design projects. Being able to have the opportunity to explore and being in touch with different fields allows me to have a broader view of projects, bringing a piece of everything as a reference to my professional experiences. In Design, we cannot limit ourselves to just one perspective. We should take advantage of diverse activity areas (such as technology, manual arts, poetry, photography, painting, graphic productions, etc) to stand out when generating ideas and creating unique, consistent multifaceted projects.
