This process includes: - Convert advanced spreadsheet formulas (vlookup, indirect, pivot) to SAS code while utilizing iterative do loops, hash objects, retain, macros, dow loops and SQL pass through facility; - Recode and create new variables; - Merge datasets; - Pull data from the server of relational database consisting of nearly 400,000 cancer patients and 11 million administrations of drug therapy using either SQL Server Management Studio or SAS (PROC SQL).• Use advanced SAS knowledge to assist in the development of analytical methods - Created estimated patient counts of supportive care drug utilizing proc SQL, macros, data steps, and external databases (IQVIA, Wolters Kluwers). - Wrote code to allocate top line patient counts for a particular drug across drug regimen - Prepared graphs and charts to validate new drug patient counts to existing drug patient counts using SGPLOT and ODS; - QA SAS code of other developer. Methods include checking macro logic, converting hard code to tokenized macro variables, and validate datasets - Built Excel tool with pivot report indicating various attributes of NDA or BLA including
