Supporting training and development and using expertise and knowledge to enhance business expertise and development across the region, I continue to support Linda with the Group's monthly meetings and Executive Group

Project and contract experience in Corporate Communications, PR, writing and editing, branding management, internal communications, crisis management, managing change and delivering media/pr training. Based in Wales, but prepared to travel.

Head of Corporate Communications, including press office and internal communications. Supporting the Minister for Health & Social Services and Chief Executive, including speech writing, Ministerial Questions, media interviews, internal communications initiatives, event planning and coordinating, brand management, policy review and Corporate Management Board.

As media, internal and external communications advisor to the Chief Constable and strategic management team, I led a department responsible for media handling, publicity and marketing, internal communications, web communications and Media production. I was the Project lead of the rebranding of the Force at a time when it moved from being one of the worst performing Forces in the UK, to one of the best, for which the employee engagement programme played a key role. Leading the Media & Corporate Communications for the Security of the European Summit in Cardiff and subsequently the Rugby World Cup at the Millennium Stadium, I coordinated the resources of operational communications staff, and led on strategic communications.In 2006, I was seconded to head up employee communications across the police forces in Wales for the proposed Police Force Merger project, developing the communications strategy, managing key corporate messages, liaising with Welsh Government and National Government, and key stakeholders.Having developed my department and extended its remit, seeing its staffing build from two to 22 during my tenure, I was runner-up in the Welsh Business Women of the Year Awards in the Women in Management Category.

Coordinating publicity for City's sports, leisure and community facilities, including Summer schools programmes. Supporting publicity and marketing of City of Cardiff events, including Cardiff Festival, Cardiff Triathlon and Cardiff Show, and Editor of Leisure Times.

Managing internal Communciations strategy and operations for UB business, including McVitie's, KP, Ross Young's, Terry's Chocolates, Crawford and Keebler(USA) Managing corporate messages across international business and liaison with Advertising and PR agencies. Editor of house newspaper and Managing Efitor of subsidiary magazine Management Services 'Oniine'.

Media management, PR, public relations, crisis communications, major incident response, events and promotions for Airport services, business and activities. Including liaison with airline operators, handling agents, retail and business partners.

Responsible for publicity, promotion and media liaison around BBC Sports &Outside broadcast programmes, including Grandstand, Sport Sunday, supporting the Outside Broadcasts team for international sporting events, including Six Nations Rugby, Wimbledon, Mastermind, Come Dancing , One Man & His Dog, etc. Media Launch events for new seasons programme, arranging interviews, photo-shoots etc.

Media and publicity activities for Specialist titles, including Country Life, Horse & Hound, NME, Melody Maker, New Scientist, Yachting Monthly, Television, Roy of the Rovers and Junior titles. Co-ordinated launch publicity for MIZZ magazine. Later also took responsibility for internal communications, including editing in-house publication, IPC News.
