My responsibilities at The Hanover Group were with Citizens Insurance. My most recent focus was applying lean and six sigma methodologies to our service organization. Specifically, I managed process improvement and workflow analysis through the use of data. The group of 15 team members supported the Personal Lines Underwriting team. Our team members handled electronic and phone requests from Personal Lines independent agents regarding auto and home policies. I was promoted to each position I held at Citizens and became the Manager of the team I originally hired in to.

At AAA Michigan I was chosen to fill a newly created position of Claims Assistant. In this role I processed medical payments, set up Independent Medical Exams, handled phone calls, mail and files for a team of 11 medical adjusters in the Claims department for personal auto accident/injury claims. I enjoyed this unique position for it's balance between independent work, relationships with the medical team, and leadership. I also serviced AAA Michigan members as their first contact for auto claims, as a cashier handling insurance payments, and in the auto salvage department handling title transfers and auto auction payments.
