Before relocating to Texas, Carolyn worked in public accounting for nearly 20 years. As a partnership taxation specialist at Pavento, Ratcliffe, Renzi & Co., LLC (PRR) she applied skills to industries including real estate, sports and leisure, tourism, venture capital and nonprofit entities. Carolyn also assisted in the development of PRR's social media campaign and was a contributing author of technical accounting articles. Prior to joining PRR, Carolyn spent five years with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC in Boston; one year of audit and attest services, and four years in the financial services group servicing high profile partnership tax clients such as Highland Capital Partners. Upon relocation to Texas, Carolyn has chosen to concentrate on nurturing her four children now age 20, 18, 15 and 11. During this time she has continued to author articles, but diverted the focus to health and fitness blogs. Carolyn has been published on the popular "Scary Mommy" blog. Carolyn has a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Bryant University and a Masters’ Degree in Taxation from Bentley College.
