At Weylandts I managed the range building of the kitchen, housekeeping, mirrors, vases and vessels categories. I ensured the stores were all stocked appropriately and that the visual merchandisers knew what the concepts and visions were behind each product.I ensured marketing was adequately and timeously briefed on which products to promote. Communicating with suppliers with regards to any product customisation, prices, production lead times and packaging were also part of my duties.I was privileged to attend two buying fairs, one in New Delhi, India and one in Frankfurt, Germany.Over my seven and a half years at Crema Design my roles and responsibilities changed as the company grew. I managed the shipping and logistics of all customer orders, including submitting orders with suppliers and international payments.I managed the marketing, both online and print, ensuring our suppliers always knew how we were promoting their product on a monthly basis.I spearheaded the presentation of the showroom, always ensuring it stayed fresh and welcoming for clients. As Crema grew and they employed new team members I grew into primarily a sales orientated position. My passion for the product and design background meant helping clients find the right product for their needs came naturally to me. I have been privileged to have attended the Milan Furniture and Lighting Fair on two occasions, being entrusted as an ambassador of Crema Design, to meet with all their suppliers and to return with invigorating knowledge of all the new products launched.
