As part of the Marketing team, I work on conceptualising and creating content for our digital marketing, campaigns, SEO, social media and advertising. On a smaller scale, I have written scripts for youtube adverts, do basic graphic design work and manage the social media pages. For the past year and a half I have worked closely with Compliance and Legal teams on a project where we amended and rewrote all policy documents and supporting communication material, including email, letters, SMS, sales and service scripts. I work with the project management teams on all projects as the communication expert, providing communication material for both the internal staff and the external stakeholders.I support all areas of the business and pride myself in being a process and product expert, information I feel you need to be an effective communicator both internally and externally. I provide further support to the business in their creative and written needs by doing things like drafting and editing complaint letters, redesigning power point presentations, creating HR mailers for employee wellness programmes, etc.I help manage the creative process within our team and work closely with the graphic designer, campaign managers and digital manager to ensure our corporate identity is applied correctly, our information is compliant and that the content and design is aligned to our target marketAs a writer I have specialised in Plain English and the application thereof. I enjoy simplifying information and making it accessible to all types of people and believe in the power of positive words. I have a natural affinity to design and enjoy working in a creative environment. I feel good design works hand in hand with good content to create great communication.
