Medication pass for up to 22 patients at a time. Administration of IVs and providing IV antibiotic therapy. Completion of new admission assessments. Working in an interdisciplinary team, contacting the MD for changes of condition. Inputting new lab, radiology, or medication orders. Formulating care plans. Providing education to patients and their families. Utilization of effective communication skills with coworkers and patients. Building rapport and trust with patients. Multitasking with superb organization and time management skills. Utilization of critical thinking skills to make accurate assessments which are imperative to providing a patient with an individual plan of care.

Make assessments and write individualized care plans for participants. Coordinate care within an interdisciplinary team. Educate health promotion and disease prevention to participants and their families.
