As Vice President of Marketing and Communications, I built uAspire’s brand and profile as the leading national nonprofit, addressing college affordability and removing financial barriers so that every student has equitable access to postsecondary education to live the life they envision.With our nation’s widening college opportunity gap and escalating student debt crisis, uAspire’s work is critical to getting more low-income students—who have the most to gain from a college degree—to and through college. The dedication, expertise, and humor of everyone who works here to accomplish this are a daily inspiration.Prior to uAspire, I was the Marketing Manager for America’s Test Kitchen, publisher of Cook’s Illustrated and Cook’s Country magazines. I oversaw all aspects of the magazines’ distribution and fulfillment, managed retail sales, and developed marketing programs to attract and retain customers.Before joining America’s Test Kitchen, I was the Marketing Director at Teen Voices, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young women. I was extremely fortunate to work alongside an amazing group of teen editors and a staff and board dedicated to furthering social and economic justice.I have an MBA from Simmons Graduate School of Management and a BS from Emerson College.I’m always interested in hearing from former colleagues, marketers, or just interesting creative people, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect.
