I've been employed at many different locations ever since I was 16. I spent about a year working as a Team Member/Cashier at a Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theater. My responsibilities consisted of two different fields: Cashier and Concessions Team Member. I manned a cash register and work with customers directly when scheduled as Cashier, and I cleaned stations, made popcorn, did dishes, and closed with my team when scheduled as a Team Member. This started my development in Customer Service and Team Skills.Later on, I would go on to spend half a year as a Bagger at a local Smith's Grocery Store. This job required me to work with customers, clean parts of the store, and gather carts outside. I would work with other team members and switch positions when needed.After some time in college, I took on a job with Lowe's for about a year. At Lowe's, I worked as a back-end cargo unloader. I worked in a small team of 6 people to unload 1-2 trucks per day. During my time there, I became forklift certified and worked directly with truck drivers. The job required the ability to lift items around 50 pounds solo, and 75+ with a team member or forklift/hand truck dolly.The summary will be continued later with my experience as a Funeral Director's Assistant/Apprentice and my time as an HVAC Technician.
