Interchangeable with Compliance Specialist, my role focused on ensuring compliance with applicable state regulations in the natural gas industry. This included leading comprehensive audits, field inspections, and incident investigations. My role also gave me the opportunity to write interrogatories and testimony for Virginia utility rate cases and oversee the authorship of protocols/procedures to ensure data integrity. Beyond that I served as a division representative on the VA SCC People Advisory Council - more specifically the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Subcommittee.

Team leader role focused on ensuring that project deliverables aligned with contractual obligations and management's expectations. I was heavily involved in the development and implementation of large scale project budgets while tracking project efficiency through labor feedback reports. I most enjoyed Southland's dynamic work atmosphere and the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of individuals.
