Electrical systems power our bodies and the world around us. Like the human body, renewable energy systems and manufacturing plants consist of numerous interconnected components that need precise control and reliable power. As control systems and power distribution systems advance, they are more effectively monitoring each piece of equipment, providing precise control that improves process efficiency and uptime. My experience includes designing electrical and control systems for medical devices, breweries, food producers, and renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities. The project that sparked my interest in this field involved creating the circuitry for a non-invasive catheter capable of cryogenic and radiofrequency ablation to treat atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (ANVRT). This device interrupts the electrical conduction pathway causing the arrhythmia, returning the heart to normal function. As an electrical engineer, I make creative decisions to most effectively power industrial systems. This involves performing electrical design calculations and preparing electrical one-line drawings that show the flow of the electrical distribution throughout complex systems. As part of EPC project teams, I: ▪️ Design building electrical systems such as low- and medium-voltage power distribution, fire alarms, and lighting for facilities that are safe, efficient, and meet standards▪️ Design control panels and power distribution panels▪️ Determine optimal routes to power equipment and instruments▪️ Specify and select power distribution equipment Please connect with me to talk controls and power:carson.endries@meadhunt.com
