I am a technically-minded creative producer and creatively-minded project manager for the themed entertainment industry. My core values are transparency with project partners, consistent communication, and active listening and learning to connect dots and understand others. My areas of expertise are concept creative development and production, audio/video production, and management of media (CG and real-time game) and show element assets. I look to add value in helping solidify the academic side of this industry through research organizations and collegiate instruction. I am passionate about the themed entertainment industry and will fight to see its expansion into daily life in my lifetime.

Show Writer

Freelance

I have always had a passion for theme park show writing, from my early days of visiting theme parks and seeing how dialogue and action truly facilitated and activated an attraction's story. Through my work with the TEA, I have been able to secure show writing work on a few themed entertainment projects. I have prepared attraction narratives, show flow documentation, stories, scripts, and copy for a variety of attraction/experience types. The most important aspect of these projects I have experienced is the dynamic of a project team, witnessing firsthand the unabashed collaborative nature of themed entertainment design. I also have been privy to another very important aspect of themed entertainment: nondisclosure agreements, as all work I have done while freelancing remains under NDA.Companies contracted with: ITEC Entertainment (Orlando, FL)

Jan 2017 - Dec 2021

Character Performer

Orlando, Florida Area

I have had the incredible opportunity to perform property-wide at Walt Disney World since 2015. My performance experience has ranged from parks, hotels, special events, shows, parades, stilt walking, innovative technological utilization, and new entertainment venue openings. Some of my most cherished times performing have included the opportunity to work alongside various creative teams. I greatly enjoy being the final stage of execution for a creative project, and have been lucky enough to witness firsthand the role a creative team plays over the course of a live entertainment project.

Aug 2015 - Oct 2020

Sales And Marketing Intern

Orlando, Florida

Feb 2020 - Mar 2020

Audio/Visual Technician

Disney’S Coronado Springs Resort

I had a gap of time between my undergraduate and graduate programs, and I spent most of that time with PSAV at Disney's Coronado Springs. There, I learned countless technical production skills. I built large projection screens, set and operated hundreds of audio and projection, hung stage lights from the ceilings, and spent a great deal of time in a scissor lift building scenic sets. I was able to flex my creative muscles in terms of oftentimes having free reign over design decisions, and learned even more about sales and client management. Our team of technicians were frequently the sole client-facing representative from our company, so we all wore a ton of hats on a daily basis. I was lucky enough to work at the resort during its historic expansion in Summer 2019, and was an active participant in that project's opening team from an operational standpoint. And as a themed entertainment enthusiast, I enjoyed frequently working alongside Disney Parks Live Entertainment and Walt Disney Imagineering on their presentations and productions.

Jan 2019 - Jan 2020

Entertainment Coordinator

Orlando, Florida

A foray into operations leadership for theme parks, I served as a Streets Entertainment Coordinator for Halloween Horror Nights 2018. This event helped to bolster my experience as a leader, and I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to work alongside the event's creative team. I monitored sets on the street, and coordinated all performer costumes/cosmetology. I led performers from a unique perspective as a fellow theme park performer.

Aug 2018 - Nov 2018

Entertainment Performer

Orlando, Florida Area

My first theme park role, I learned the ins-and-outs of theme park operations from a unique perspective and department. During my time here, I performed in countless park locations and special events. As an entertainment performer, you are rarely limited to one work location. This has allowed me to gain a wider view of resort operations, from performing at both Universal Parks, CityWalk, and each Universal Orlando Resort hotel.
