A design team leader and an experienced 2D and 3D CAD designer, I created scenic show sets and highly themed prop elements for top-tier theme park clients delivering ground breaking domestic and international entertainment experiences. As Sr Designer for a design-build studio, I led a team of designers in the use of the latest 3D modeling, BIM, and CAD drafting technology to realize imaginative spaces through advanced custom fabrication techniques and artistic construction methods.

As Design Manager for the Interactive Media and Outreach unit of the National Air and Space Museum, I designed interactive experiences, from exhibit interactives to websites to mobile apps to broadcast media, taking ideas big and small from start to finish. I led a team managing the design of interactive exhibition components across the museum, as well as group spearheading the research and development of new technologies. I have experience in CAD, 3D animation, video and audio production, and digital, print, and motion graphics. I helped to expand the horizon of one of the world's most popular museums during a $250 million renovation, creating memorable experiences for millions of visitors.

As part-time graduate faculty, I taught courses in advanced CAD design software, including concept rendering and architectural drafting, for the Master of Arts in Exhibition Design program at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design, The George Washington University.

As part of my fellowship with the Corcoran Gallery of Art's student outreach program ArtReach, I co-curated, designed, and installed several exhibitions in the Corcoran Gallery of Art and a local community gallery. I also produced graphics for these exhibitions, contributed to various media publications, and facilitated student projects that were featured in the exhibitions. Due in part to my efforts, ArtReach was awarded a Washington D.C. Mayor’s Arts Award for Innovation in the Arts.

This internship afforded me the opportunity to work on several different projects involving a wide range of museum professionals. I worked with a team museum educators helping to envision a new exhibition for children at the museum. I also worked with a team of designers to research, design, and prototype wayfinding signage throughout the museum.
