I am currently a Graduate Student at Columbia University’s School of Social Work. My dream is to be a therapist mainly focusing on addiction treatment. I did my undergrad at Colorado State University where I obtained a degree in Psychology Addiction Counseling. I now am at Columbia hoping to further my development through school, my internship with Youth Justice Network, working in inpatient facilities in New York City, and exploring my interest in insurance as well as music through learning producing and becoming licensed in musical therapy. Through my time at Columbia I am starting a nonprofit as well called the A.M Foundation in honor of my brothers to raise money for individuals that cannot afford it. I have been the president of the psychology honors society and a social chair in a fraternity. I just hope to make a difference and help people as I grow in my journey.
