I am a junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville working towards a business degree in Management with a minor of entrepreneurship. Besides working towards my degree, I spend almost all of my free time working for the football team at the University of Tennessee. I believe one of my biggest strengths is time management and always being accountable. My time working for the football team has increased my time management skills by balancing 40+ hour work weeks and time for class, homework, and studying. Football has increased my accountability because of knowing the negative impact I can have on the program for not giving my all or not showing up.After college, my professional goals include becoming a business owner or manager of a company. I also plan to take over a few of my family businesses that are expected to be passed down to me. I plan to use everything I have learned throughout college in the classroom and within the football program to lead me in my daily life. I will use the academic lessons I learned in my career with financial advising and on the financial side of running my family businesses. I plan to use the hard work, time management, and accountability I learned in these things as well.
