My responsibilities include leading our legal team, leading our privacy team, and leading a cross-functional team for our software as a medical device program. I successfully led the company's ISO 13485 certification effort. I frequently advise on legal strategy, regulatory compliance, data protection strategy, data security, device functionality in clinical trials, and regulatory pathways to market for future products.Other responsibilities include regulatory oversight for both the US and EU marketings, including compliance with regulations for medical devices, privacy, and decentralized clinical trials. I also review corporate communications and contracts for legal compliance, represent Medable in any legal proceedings, and negotiate contracts.

In my private practice, I served multiple clients in Texas where my services included litigation for complex commercial and high-profile residential litigation with multiple parties, serving as plaintiff and defense counsel. Other work included agreement negotiations advisory on advisory on privacy matters. I also lived for two years in Argentina, with some of that time spent on contract to Vines of Mendoza.

Vines of Mendoza is an American wine business offering private vineyard estates in Argentina. My role included customizing and closing transnational purchase and service contracts with domestic and international buyers, structuring documents, and ensuring regulatory compliance with Argentine local and federal regulations for foreign purchasers.
