DealsGoRound began as a project to facilitate the buying, selling and trading of unused Groupons. Media coverage from TechCrunch to the Wall Street Journal & every local media outlet in between lead to tremendous traction and more than $1M in venture capital funding.The product began as a self-service Craigslist-style marketplace and has evolved into a full-service TicketsNow type of experience with iPhone and Android applications supporting the business on the go. In addition, the recent launch of the Deal Wallet allows consumers to organize their purchases from across providers in a single interface. My responsibilities in the company were to handle the strategy, execution & analysis of a comprehensive Social Media presence for DealsGoRound, as well as front end design to optimise landing pages & increase conversions.

As the Designer & Webmaster for DailyDealChat I was responsible for the creation & implementation in running an open forum discussion for the daily deal industry. The weekly discussion took place on the site through a real-time forum where Community Managers & experts in the Daily Deal Industry joined in to discuss how to bring a local idea to a global scale.

As an Account Manager for SocialKaty I was responsible for the strategy, execution & analysis of comprehensive Social Media presences for startups, entrepreneurs, & eCommerce solutions. Being an expert in Social Media Marketing gave me the ability to drive traffic, increase sales, & provide real-time Customer Service for all of my clients. Learning the intricate details of Facebook Advertising, Twitter Marketing, Blog Writing/Content Creation, & choosing just the right Instagram filter are all skills gained from this position that have been carried over into my current endeavors.

As the Station Manager of Auburn University's student operated radio station I was personally responsible for staff management & training. Along with the daily operations required to run a radio station & promote local events within the Auburn community.
