Over my time at Founders I have lead and developed the Quality team in a wide range of new testing methods giving us more information about our beer than ever before. I am familiar with all aspects of the lab from raw material testing, to finished product analytic testing. Several of the skills used in the lab include but not limited to:G.C. maintenance and operationAnalytically testing samples from ABV, IBUs, SRM, DO, and over 20 more specs.Maintaining, installing, and operating an Anton Paar DMA 4500M, and UV/Vis Spec.Building an in house tracking system.Monitoring beer and efficiency from the milling past the expiration date.Performing micro testing on all stages of beer.Inspecting and monitoring packaging materials, such as can seam inspection.Performing and assisting with cell counts, viability, and daily using both classical and modern methods.Analyzing sensory statistics on products.Insuring a safe work environment for all employees.Member of the A.S.B.C. and active with the Methods and Analysis review team.Development of new efficient testing methods related to the brewing process.Certified trainer for heavy machinery, including Hi-Lo and sizer lift.Certified Storm Water Operator.and many more functions around the brewing process.
