Involved with teaching medical students and residents as an Associated Professor at Michigan State University.While medicine can keep you busy, I found the time to develop a distribute office management/EMR system with a LAMP stack circa 2000. This was actively utilized in our multi-physician office. Found the time to earn a M.S. in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University in 2006. My Thesis was a data mining algorithm of large data sets based on set theory. The software that I wrote was a threaded Java program that could review and sort 250,000 documents per minute. I was named the Grand Valley Graduate Student of the Year and was awarded the Thesis of the Year.An injury to my dominate arm in late 2012 ended my surgical career. While I have continued to do Independent Medical Evaluations, an increasing amount of my time has been devoted to IoT projects and Robotic projects. While most of my work has been in C++, I have been incorporating more Python in my efforts as well.I am looking for a position in the Charleston South Carolina area where I can employ my talents in developing new projects and ideas. A role as an instructor might also be appealing. As noted above I have a strong background in medicine, surgery, and data mining. To that can be added my more current work with embedded systems and over 50+ years of experience in aviation as a pilot. Show less
