Used ProgeCAD to design improvements and parts to either upgrade or replace damaged parts on various woodworking machines.Collaborated with maintenance crew to plan assembly and moving machines.Developed corrective measures and safety procedures in collaboration with safety department to improve safety and streamline repairs of molders.Collaborated with outside suppliers and manufacturers to commission parts for a massive expansion of the facility.Designed and developed a belt-and-pulley refit of a molder to use smaller wood lengths.Improved and reorganized the cut bill library of the Ultimizer UV64 program to ensure ease of use for operators and reduce clutter.

Worked independently to analyze the short-term effects of seawater exposure on composite materials for naval applications as part of a summer research/part-time job opportunity. The dynamic compression of Garolite G7, G9, G11, and carbon fiber-reinforced epoxy were studied using a Split Hopkinson pressure bar. I also assisted two colleagues with their research on the dynamic compression of cortical bone and piezoelectric materials.

Worked with a Professor over the summer in developing an archive for one of the last still-functioning grist mills in Central Pennsylvania. I develop a 3D CAD model using 3D Architect using pictures and data gathered on site. I also assisted the professor in improving and gathering data from a senior design project replica of a grist mill.

Worked with a team of Bucknell students, graduate students, and foreign exchange students on improving the Bipedal Walking robot project. I assisted a graduate student in developing a human-like arm that could open/close doors and pick up objects. I also worked with foreign exchange students to better understand how humans catch themselves when they fall to improve the Bipedal Robot's stability and worked on improving a senior design project utilizing stereoscopic vision to navigate in 3D environments.
