The Learning by Creating Grant is an internal grant offered by Willamette University every summer for students who wish to expand their experience in an artistic field of their choice by producing a project for 8 weeks out of the summer.I produced a creative non-fiction chapbook consisting of five essays detailing the experience of coming home to one's hometown after being away at college. The chapbook was then edited and printed and distributed within the Willamette community.Along with the production of the chapbook, I also produced 3 podcasts of radio essays written about aspects of living in Santa Rosa California.
