Excited to have started as a Care Designer at Albury/Wodonga Nurse Next Door. Look forward to growing with the team, to be able to better service our community. A great team supporting our locals, focussed on Making Lives Better.Previously the Surgical Improvement Clinical Lead at Albury Wodonga Health, I have been supporting the review and innovation within the theatre and surgical space for over a year as part of the state-wide Elective Surgery Recovery and Reform project. My mission was to create a better patient experience and improve timely access to elective surgeries in the area, using best practice and innovation in service delivery as the foundation of all work. I have successfully collaborated with internal teams, and external stakeholders to implement process improvements, stakeholder engagement, and change management strategies that have enhanced the quality and efficiency of the surgical services.I have over 16 years of experience as a registered nurse, with a postgraduate diploma in addiction and mental health and a most recently a diploma of management. I have also worked at Tallangatta Health Service as a registered nurse in aged care, a project manager, a quality improvement officer, and a communications officer for COVID-19. In these roles, I have demonstrated my skills in leadership, communication, networking, creative project development, lifestyle program development, policy and procedure development, and health care standards. I have experience also working in local council as Enterprise Risk Officer. I am passionate about improving the health and well-being of the communities I live in and I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
