Responsible for the training and management of 7 company organizations, composed of 613 personnel, 33 aircraft, and all associated equipment; directs the daily operations of 7 NCOs and 14 Soldiers; oversees the management of orders production for the Battalion; manages battalion land, ammunition, and range requests; oversees battalion school requests; ensure the proper management of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and Digital Training Management System (DTMS); accountable for section equipment valued at more than $1.2 million. Appointed as the Battalion Victim Advocate, Company Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Program (SHARP) representative, Company Equal Opportunity Leader, Master Resiliency Trainer, and Brigade Night Vision Device Coordinator.

Serves as the Maintenance Platoon Sergeant for Delta Company in the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment; responsible for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 23 UH-60L and 12 CH-47F helicopters valued at over $400 million; directly responsible for the health, physical fitness, counseling, administrative actions, professional development and training of 19 NCO's, 78 Soldiers, and the welfare of their families; maintains serviceability and accountability of associated Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) valued over $30 million.

NCOIC of the Night Vision Devices Branch (NVDB); serves as instructor, subject matter expert (SME), and world-wide central point of contact for Aviator's Night Vision Imaging System (ANVIS); oversees all Army Night Vision Devices problems/deficiencies and acts as consultant to contractor related ANVIS issues, to include maintenance and management; develops policies as procedures for specific training, operations, material development, and user representation issues within the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) and with all Army Aircraft.

Battalion Safety NCO for an aviation training battalion responsible for an annual flying hour program in excess of 110,000 hours that provides initial entry rotary wing training, fixed wing qualification, maintenance test pilot qualifications, CH-47 aircrew training, and MEDEVAC support to the USAACE mission; responsible for safe ground and flight operations of the U.S. Army's busiest airfield and five subordinate companies consisting of over 337 military and civilian personnel; observes contract aircraft support facilities to detect and report unsafe maintenance practices or procedures for over 200 aircraft of seven different airframes.

Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight control, and their components. Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems. Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks. Performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections. Performs limited maintenance operational checks and assists in diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment. Prepares forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.

Checks, tallies, and documents cargo utilizing both manual and automated data processing systems. Rigs ships' gear as part of a team. Loads and unloads supplies and equipment from ships, docks, beaches, railheads, boxcars, warehouses, motor vehicles and aircraft (to include internal and external helicopter loading). Operates and maintains all types and sizes of winches, cranes, and forklifts.
