As the Chief Sustainability Officer, my role is to support locally-led impact interventions and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities funded by diverse donors and partners from across sectors. Nuru’s renewed commitment to sustainability will focus on the farmers we serve, the agribusinesses we support, and the ecosystems in which they derive livelihoods and revenues. Sustainability requires collective action that collaboratively integrates international goals with local knowledge and needs.
