I am a Senior Partner at PwC with over 35 years of experience serving the Energy and Utility Sector, including over 25 years as a Lead Partner for the external audits of multiple Fortune 500 Energy Companies. As PwC’s first Firm-Wide US Sustainability and ESG Leader I led the development of a strategy and cross functional team that assists companies with important ESG and Sustainability matters including accurately reporting ESG data and progress to designing and implementing sustainable business and Clean Energy strategies. Prior to my Sustainability leadership role, I led PwC’s US Energy, Utilities and Resources business – including Assurance, Consulting and Tax services - for more than a decade. In addition to leading the external audits of numerous Fortune 500 companies, I have led PwC’s relationship with several of our largest consulting clients. I am currently Chair of Electric Power Research Institute’s (EPRI) Advisory Council, and am a member of the Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) Wall Street Advisory Group and the Dean’s Advisory Council of the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. I previously served on the advisory boards of the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business and the Tulane Energy Institute. I have had the opportunity to speak at industry events for organizations such as EEI, EPRI, GreenBiz, Stanford Director’s College, Financial Executives International, American Gas Association, National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners as well as the Staffs of the Financial Accounting Standards Board, International Accounting Standards Board and the Securities and Exchange Commission. I’m a Certified Public Accountant and I earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, with an emphasis in accounting and economics. I’m a passionate supporter of hunger relief causes, and I have served on the boards of hunger relief charities on the national, regional, and local levels. I currently live in Chicago with my wife where we and our three children cheer on the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks.
