Injection Molding supplying Teir 1 to Honda ManufacturingResponsibilities• Provide daily direction and assist with all aspects of injection molding operations• Process development and improvement with weekly reporting of department metrics to Japan• Budget development for department labor, expenses, and capital projects• Maintain schedule for 24 injection molding machines and 104 individual molds• Grow and mentor Team Leaders to develop strong process control with high quality and efficiency• Train and Develop Injection Technicians to improve changeover efficiency• Track product performance for both quality and efficiency and develop PDCA action plans for improvement

• Assure safety practices are in place and followed• Work with Sr Management team and provide daily direction• Maintain quality standards and assist with poke yoke development• Implement 5S throughout the plant with a focus on product flow• Develop plant and department goals• Create and maintain Budgets• Review and balance manpower to assure production needs are met• Create plant schedule and reduce overtime• Utilize lean manufacturing training (TPS) with a focus on quality, ergonomics and efficiency

Responsibilities• Direct work flow and prioritize work assignments for 20 associates.• Manage 100+ accounts maximizing freight per ton and gross margin• Analyze both paper and plastic commodities for maximum value• Maintain plant P&L working within budget and improving gross margin• Market commodities to both export and domestic markets.• Hire and terminate associates as needed to balance processing costs per ton• Use lean techniques to maximize material flow and remove waste from the value stream.

Responsibilities:• Manage 24/7 LDPE recycling operation with 30 associates running 2 LDPE recycling lines, 1 LDPE washing line and 1 sort line.• Develop resin blends for optimum performance and quality.• Grading raw material and working with suppliers to set up material streams and quality standards.• Manage plant budget and approve all purchases working with suppliers to reduce costs and provide cost savings.• Report to executive team on schedule attainment, inventory, safety, quality, production planning, and maintenance projects.• Facilitate daily and monthly communication meetings with production and staff level associates. Foster input and cost saving submissions for all associates.

Responsibilities:• Manage workflow 60+ Team Members across 3 shifts making decisions on quality, production, safety and priorities.• Maintain production schedule and identify bottlenecks, respond to out of range process parameters and eliminate issues.• Hire all entry level associates perform orientation and safety training.• Counseled team members on attendance and performance issues focusing on coaching for better performance.• Implement and maintain process to standards, utilizing visual controls.• Create all cell layouts providing maximum product flow with minimum opportunity for error using lean manufacturing techniques and ergonomic design.• Provide FTQ information as well as production to schedule information in daily staff meeting.
