About Casey Schafer

I graduated with a Masters in Statistics from Colorado State University where I took upper level courses in statistics, research spatio-temporal methods for climate data, attended national conferences in environmental statistics and instructed for introductory level statistics classes. Areas of experience include neural networks, spatial statistics, time series, and hierarchical modeling with an emphasis in Bayesian methods. I have worked in R and Python, and enjoy collaborating with both statistically and non-statistically minded people. I am in my first year as an instructor in the statistics department at Oregon State University.
